Our Vision
We believe that in the future, floatation will be as routine and essential as a daily shower - a cornerstone of preventive healthcare and wellbeing. Regular floatation can help maintain balance, strengthen resilience and support long life in good health. By making the practice accessible and effortless, we aim to shift it from a rare treatment to an everyday ritual that nurtures both body and mind.
Why We’re Different
Most people know floatation as lying in a tank of water, often called wet floatation. There are also products that try to offer a dry version, but without saltwater, which gives the real sensation of floating. Driifloat is the first to combine both – it’s about true floating, while staying dry. This way, you can enjoy all the benefits of floatation without the need to shower, change, or deal with water.
What also makes us different is how we create. Every unit is fully handmade in our family factory in Poland. We use customised parts, assembled by hand, and we treat each bed as a craft. Our team puts heart into every step, constantly developing the product and improving it based on your feedback and ideas.

Why we made it?
Monika I first floated in Bangkok about ten years ago. My then boyfriend, now husband Tony, had a contract to install float cabins at a new wellness centre there, and we treated it as a short holiday escape from London.
I’d known about floatation in theory, but it had never made sense to me - why would anyone spend hours and money on something with no obvious benefit? But after my first long-haul flight left me with unbearable jet lag, I agreed to try one of the pods already installed. The only thing I clearly remember was the sensation of my body dissolving into weightless darkness.
I slept for over an hour. The jet lag wasn’t gone, but the fog had lifted. A surprising lightness and calm took its place, and the calm lasted for days. I was converted.
It still took us years to realise two things: first, how much people miss out when floatation isn’t easily accessible; second, the practical barriers of cost, maintenance, and safety. Driifloat was born as a simple, first-principle solution - real floatation, made easy.
Tony I first floated over twenty years ago, in what looked like a scientific experiment - a cylinder with a hatch door. It worked its magic, though, and I knew there was something powerful about it.
That led me to set up my first float facility and eventually into equipment design, manufacturing, and installation. I travelled widely, met wonderful people in the industry, and had countless conversations - though more often about filtration systems and water chemistry than about the float experience itself. Those questions made me think about how things could be done differently.
Driifloat was created to solve two main problems: complicated, costly water maintenance and the rising expense of equipment. If we could cut the cost in half and make it all easier, we could open floatation to many more people.
Imagine if floating was no longer niche but part of everyday life, improving health and resilience at scale. That’s the future we want to create, and I’m excited about it every single day.
